About the Role Redbridge is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Manager to oversee their fostering team. This is a crucial role where you'll be responsible for leading a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality fostering services, and providing exceptional support to foster carers and children in care. You'll play a vital part in: Providing strong leadership and supervision to a team of fostering social workers. Ensuring the effective recruitment, assessment, and support of foster carers. Upholding high standards of practice and compliance with fostering regulations and legislation. Contributing to the strategic development and improvement of the fostering service. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children. About You We're looking for a qualified social worker with substantial post-qualifying experience in fostering, including experience at a supervisory or management level. You'll possess: A comprehensive understanding of fostering legislation, regulations, and best practice. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
