A new exclusive opportunity, we are looking for a commercially focused Group Financial Director to join a successful privately owned group of companies based in Bradford, with a turnover of £20m. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the owners, with wide-ranging responsibility across all financial, commercial and operational aspects of the group.
The Role Includes:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Cashflow management, forecasting and oversight of funding requirements (loans, overdrafts, leases)
Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts, and supplier payments in multiple currencies
Company secretarial duties, compliance and governance
Overseeing intercompany transactions and recharges
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Managing Sage 200, Sage CRM and MS Office systems
Oversight of insurances, utilities and fleet management
Supporting capital expenditure projects and property management
Identifying and securing grant funding and R&D tax credits
Managing construction project finances and cost controls
Liaison with external auditors and professional advisors
