Role Overview:
Our client, a global Insurance company, is seeking a Business Analyst with OneStream experience for a hybrid working contract based in London.
This role is within the Finance Change Team, focusing on redeveloping the OneStream Architecture using the capabilities of the OneStream MI solution. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, writing acceptance criteria, validating implementations, and managing the product backlog in an agile environment, including facilitating UAT and Business Acceptance Testing.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
1. Facilitate and write requirements and acceptance criteria for Epics and Stories.
2. Obtain stakeholder approval for requirements and acceptance criteria.
3. Review proposed solution designs to ensure they meet requirements and acceptance criteria.
4. Support formulation and acceptance of key design decisions.
5. Validate implementation during sprint reviews and testing phases, providing feedback and raising bugs.
6. Facilitate Data Reconciliation processes.
7. Manage and refine the product backlog to reflect current priorities.
8. Support formulation of Change Requests and impact assessments.
9. Conduct defect triage to prioritize bugs and feedback.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Understanding of project governance and lifecycle.
* Analytical and organizational skills to review and influence solutions.
* Financial acumen, including statutory and management reporting.
* Ability to operate independently and remotely.
* Stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working with third-party consultants on financial models.
* Proficiency in requirements specification, agile product backlog management, and data modeling.
* Experience with financial data analysis, reconciliation, and defect management.
Minimum Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in finance software implementation and MI requirements delivery.
* Understanding of accounting principles and EPM solutions.
* 5+ years in a global business environment.
* 5+ years working in Agile Scrum as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
* Experience with OneStream is advantageous.
