About the Role
You will provide personalised tuition to students who may face additional challenges, including:
SEN (Special Educational Needs)
SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)
Trauma
Risk of Permanent Exclusion (PEX)Your sessions will help learners build confidence, engage positively, and achieve academic success.
As a Tutor, you will:
Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
Support emotional well-being and encourage positive engagement
Work 1:1 or in small groups, adapting strategies for complex needs
Track progress and share feedback with parents and schools
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
About you:
Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as Tutor, Teacher, Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, ELSA, or 1:1 support
Experience working with learners with additional needs

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with learners with SENTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
