We're looking for a Vehicle Paint Technician who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment. This is your chance to complete the repair with flawless paintwork from preparation to final inspection. You'll play a key role in ensuring our high standards are maintained and exceeded
What You'll Be Doing:
* Carrying out expert paintwork on damaged vehicles using water-based products
* Mixing paints and checking colours to perfection
* Completing spray-out cards and setting oven temperatures/air pressure
* Performing high-quality preparation, priming, and application techniques
* Ensuring jobs are completed accurately as per the job card
* Handling plastic repairs and applying correct fillers
* Cleaning mixing rooms and maintaining a tidy, safe work area
* Using full PPE, including full-face air-fed masks and overalls
* Liaising with the Workshop Controller and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
What We're Looking For:
* Experience with vehicle painting and refinishing
* Great attention to detail with a passion for perfection
* Ability to follow systems and processes to the letter
* Excellent team player and communicator
* Proactive in identifying and reporting issues with tools/equipment
Key Objectives:
* Examine and prepare surfaces for paintwork
* Apply preparatory treatments, mix materials accurately, and produce exceptional finishes
* Maintain tools and ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards
