Junior IT Project Manager
Location: Home-based (with occasional travel as required)
Hours: 37.5 per week
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Junior IT Project Manager to join our growing Digital and Transformation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project management, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of IT and business change projects.
Working closely with experienced Project Managers and senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering projects that make a real impact across the organisation. From planning and tracking progress to supporting stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery, you’ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the planning, scheduling and delivery of IT projects
* Coordinating communication between internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers
* Maintaining project documentation, timelines, and risk logs
* Tracking progress against milestones and reporting on project status
* Assisting with governance processes from business case through to delivery
* Monitoring risks and escalating issues where required
* Supporting the delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget
* Managing project tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar
* Taking on increasing responsibility as your skills develop
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about building a career in project management.
You’ll also bring:

* A basic understanding of project management principles
* Experience using Microsoft Office and project tools
* A collaborative, team-focused approach
* A keen interest in developing your career in IT project management
Desirable
* Previous experience in a project support or coordination role
* Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2)
* Working towards, or interest in, professional project management certifications
