Job Description: Small Tools Fitter The company is seeking an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join the team. This role involves the repair, maintenance, and testing of various small plant and tools to ensure they are safe, reliable, and in excellent condition for hire. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair small tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and other light machinery used on construction sites. 2. Fault Diagnosis: Identify faults and perform diagnostics on tools and equipment to determine necessary repairs or replacements. 3. Repair and Service: Carry out repairs, part replacements, and full servicing of tools and small plant equipment, ensuring all work meets company standards and safety regulations. 4. Testing and Certification: Test tools after repair to confirm they are functioning correctly and meet safety standards; prepare tools for PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certification when necessary. 5.
