Childrens Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week available

Salary: £25,490.90 Per year

Location: Clase Community Cwtch - Swansea

Fixed term - until 31st March 2027 and subject to future funding.

Are you passionate about supporting children's mental and emotional health? Do you want to make a real difference in young lives?

Faith in Families is looking for a dedicated Children's Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner to join their dynamic team!

You will work closely with children and families to promote positive emotional health, provide tailored support to address individual needs, contribute to building brighter futures for young people in our communities.

We provide 1-2-1 and group interventions for children who require extra support with issues such as understanding and managing strong emotions, processing traumatic events, attachment difficulties, anxiety, self-esteem and family relationships.

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. Involve recruit, train and support volunteers to be in a befriending/ Independent visitor role on a one to one or in a group setting to meet the needs of individual children, young people, families, adults with various needs or older people.

SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.
