Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a varied, fast paced role within a friendly and collaborative accountancy firm?
This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Processing invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Producing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
* Assisting with additional accounting duties as required
* Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
Skills & Experience
* Previous bookkeeping experience preferred, particularly using Xero and Sage (training available for the right candidate)
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent administrative and communication skills
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines
* Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude
