Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to work with us at the upcoming Chester Christmas Market. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and some previous sales experience.
Duties
* Sell our range of Christmas decorations to visitors to the market
* Keep a good stock control
* Maintain an eye catching, clean and full display of the product range.
* Take and account for payments, both cash and card.
Requirements
* Ability to work unsupervised after an initial training period.
* Willingness to work outdoors in a potentially cold environment.
* Must be flexible with hours and days worked
* Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory effectively.
* Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is advantageous but not essential.
* A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist customers is crucial for success in this role.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks
Pay: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
