I am currently recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within a specialist SEND resource base in a weing mainstream primary school located in Sparkbrook (B11).
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and resilient HLTA who is confident supporting pupils withplex additional needs and ismitted to inclusive education.

The SEND team works closely together to provide high-quality support tailored to individual pupil needs.
Your new role
As an HLTA in the SEND resource base, you will:
1. Support pupils with EHCPs and SEND (Austism, non verbal)
2. Deliver interventions and small-group learning
3. Plan & resource
4. Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and external professionals
5. Promote pupil independence, engagement and positive behaviour
6. Contribute to a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
7. HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
8. Strong SEND experience, ideally within a resource base or specialist setting
9. Experience supporting pupils with ASD,munication needs, SEMH, or similar
10. Confidence delivering interventions and supporting learning across the curriculum
11. A patient, proactive and flexible approach
12. Strong teamwork andmunication skills
