To allow the post holder, with appropriate supervision, to work as an autonomous and responsible practitioner within the scope of their training and job description, engaging in:
1. Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people in educational settings with mild to moderate mental health problems.
2. Facilitating access for children and young people with more severe problems to specialized services.
3. Supporting staff in educational settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
4. Collaborating within education environments to improve access to specialist mental health services and to utilize acquired skills to deliver a service that complements existing initiatives without replacing them.
