As a Senior Chef de Partie at C LA VI, you will play a key leadership role within our kitchen brigade, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. You will take ownership of your section, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, consistency, and service are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Lead and manage your designated kitchen section during service.
Support, train, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and to standard before service.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards within your section at all times.
Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP regulations.
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs on menu development, seasonal offerings, and special events.
Monitor stock levels within your section and assist with ordering and inventory management.
Help drive consistency, efficiency, and high performance across the kitchen team.
Maintain C LA VIs reputation for excellence in food quality and guest experience.
Qualifications Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP in a reputable restaurant, luxury hospitality venue, or hotel.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate junior team members.
A culinary qualification or equivalent certification is desirable.
Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for presentation and quality.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
