An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Strategy, Planning and Performance Team within the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust.
The Trust is continuing in its commitment to transform services and develop new ways of working through delivery of the Trust’s strategy ‘Delivering Excellence’ and Integrated Medium-Term Plan (IMTP).

Main duties of the job
The Senior Project Manager is a new role within the team that will be responsible for the provision of expert project management across our most high-profile and complex financial sustainability projects. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Director of People to drive forward the Financial Sustainability Programme.

Essential criteria
* Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Project and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience

* Masters level qualification

* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* People Management skills
* Track record of complex problem solving in a project management environment
* Competent in the use of desktop applications

* Experience of management and managing successful projects
