About the Role
A co-educational private day and boarding school located in Hampshire, catering to 800 pupils and teachers from nursery to 18 years. The role involves core feeding of breakfast, lunch, supper, morning snack, and afternoon snack, with a significant hospitality component. This is a term-time only contract working 38 weeks a year, with the nursery operation running 52 weeks. The operation runs 7 days a week, with a 5-day work pattern. Free on-site parking is an additional benefit.
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at our prestigious location in Hook. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level, with a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus. Creativity and skill showcase opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work effectively within a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and teachers.
2. Prepare food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and adhering to brand standards.
3. Maintain food standards and control wastage.
4. Follow Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures.
Required Skills
1. Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.

4. Organised with attention to detail.
5. Understanding of food cost and wastage basics.
Knowledge and Competencies
1. Good verbal English skills.
2. Good written and reading English skills.
