We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our dynamic team at Clearhill in the UK. This role is pivotal in ensuring our engineering processes are efficient and effective, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality products and services.
Location: Head Office, Banbridge (with occasional travel across Ireland & GB)
Job Description:
As a Workshop Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in rebuilding, refurbishing, and preparing our vending machines and kiddie rides so they're ready to go out to customer locations. You'll also get involved in testing, programming, and supporting the wider team with technical queries – so it's a role with plenty of variety and opportunities to learn.
This role would suit someone with experience in maintenance, service, joinery, or electrical work – but if you're mechanically minded, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in high-quality work, full training will be provided. Spray painting experience would be a bonus, but it's not essential.
We're looking for someone with:
* High energy, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
* A willingness to learn and embrace our Lean culture of continuous improvement
* A valid driving licence and confidence using smartphone technology
* Great attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
What you'll be doing
* Refurbishing and preparing machines for installation
* PAT and safety testing equipment
* Setting up and programming telemetry hardware/software
* Supporting our Field Engineers over the phone when needed
* Driving company vehicles (van/forklift)
* Helping us improve processes in the workshop
What we offer
* A fantastic team culture and modern working environment
* Company events, monthly lunches & wellbeing programme
* Health Cash Plan & Perks
* Free on-site parking
* The chance to build new skills and grow within the business
