Are you seeking a part-time role that offers variety and the chance to make a real difference? This position supports a gentleman with acquired brain injury in his home and daily life, with activities and some light housekeeping. Shifts are 2-3 per week over Monday-Saturday, with hours generally 11.30am - 6pm on Weekdays and 12pm-5pm on Saturdays. Some hours may vary depending on planned activities.
Immediate details: 2-3 shifts per week; Part-time; East Kilbride, UK; UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities
* Spend time with the person you support and engage in activities to make a positive impact on their life
* Provide social activity support and light housekeeping as required
* Work in a flexible, customer-led manner to meet the needs and preferences of the person supported
* Follow values of choice, dignity and respect, and contribute to the goal of enabling people to live the life they choose
Qualifications and Requirements
* UK Manual Driving Licence is essential for this role
* Care experience or a genuine interest in caring for others is welcomed
* A good sense of humour, commitment and consistency to building rapport
* Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
* Patience, empathy, resilience, and problem-solving abilities
