The Role Our team supports two amazing ladies, you'll assist both ladies with all aspects of daily living, including meal planning, cooking, housework, support to appointments, administrating medication and personal care. As both ladies are wheelchair users, there will be aspects of moving and assisting along with use of tracking hoists. The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. Both ladies also enjoy a variety of activities, including listening to music, attending discos, going to the theatre and cinema, shopping and going on holidays. The ladies both have their own mobility cars and love going out for drives so for this position we will need you to have a full UK manual driving licence with at least one years' experience on the roads. About you You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career at Cornerstone, we're more interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SCQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees to! All we'll need you to bring is; Great communication skills. A caring attitude and approach. A positive approach to learning. Confidence in the use of computers. A full manual driving licence (minimum of 1 years’ experience) Shift Patterns As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of the ladies, shifts currently fall into patterns of 0830 - 2100 hours or 1200 - 2100 hours, 7 days a week and will include sleepovers and weekends on a rotational basis. The sleepover part of your shift isn't calculated within your contracted hours, so you would receive an additional payment for this aspect.
