Are you experienced in supporting children with different needs?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Inclusion and Wellbeing Mentor, working 26 hours per week on a fixed term basis until August 2026. We would ideally like the candidate to work 4 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) however there is some flexibility in these which can be discussed at interview.
The role of Inclusion and Wellbeing Mentor:
X Working closely with the school’s SLT, plan and deliver a range of interventions and group activities to support children across the school to support social, emotional and mental health needs including children with an EHCP.
X Be a key person in leading the lunchtime nurture provision for a small group of children with specific need.
X Liaise with families and external agencies as required.
X Be a lead on managing behaviour and behaviour plans for individual children through contributing, delivering and reviewing them.
X Respond positively to children when requiring support and strategies to regulate.

The ideal candidate will:
•Have a good understanding of inclusion in a school setting and be a champion for this.
•Have experience and understanding of supporting children with SEMH needs.
•Have experience of dealing with children with challenging needs.
•Have excellent and interaction skills.
•Have the ability to communicate and develop positive relationships with children and families.
