Job Title: Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Dyslexia Assessments)

Fee: £165 per assessment
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to specialise in conducting dyslexia assessments. This role offers flexible working arrangements, with opportunities to carry out assessments remotely and/or onsite.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and supporting individuals with dyslexia by delivering thorough assessments and clear, evidence-based reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive dyslexia assessments for children and/or adults
* Deliver assessments remotely via secure platforms and/or in-person where required
* Interpret assessment findings to inform diagnosis and recommendations
* Produce clear, structured, and professional written reports
* Provide practical, tailored recommendations for support and intervention
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
Requirements
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
* Registration with the HCPC and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
* Experience in assessing and supporting individuals with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties
* Strong written communication and report‑writing skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable Experience
* Additional training or certification in dyslexia assessment (e.g., SpLD qualifications)
* Experience working in educational, clinical, or private practice settings
* Familiarity with a range of standardised assessment tools
