Quantity Surveyor
Residential Housebuilding
An established residential housebuilder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across new-build housing and mixed-tenure developments.
Role Responsibilities
* Commercial management of residential developments from site start through to completion
* Subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and order placement
* Preparation and management of budgets, CVRs, and cost reports
* Valuation of subcontractor applications and agreement of final accounts
* Management of variations and cost control to protect project margins
* Close collaboration with site, technical, and sales teams
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding or residential construction sector
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control and procurement
* Ability to manage multiple live sites and work to tight budgets and programmes
* Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
