School Business Manager Wanted as soon as possible Salary scale: Grade 7 (SCP 18-23) Hours: 37 hours per week, all-year round contract Christ Church C of E Primary School is a large primary school with a nursery provision, serving our local community in Coseley. We're looking for a dynamic School Business Manager to lead our administrative and financial operations, ensuring our school runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our school—where your expertise in finance, HR, and resource management will directly support pupil success, staff wellbeing, and long-term sustainability. Your Role: Oversee finance, HR, premises, and administration functions Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Lead on compliance, health & safety, and risk management Support the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning Drive improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and value for money What We're Looking For: Proven experience in school business management or similar role Strong financial acumen and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A commitment to education, equity, and community impact Relevant qualifications This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team which shares an ambition to provide the best possible environment in which to educate our children.
