Job Description
Salary: £32,960 - £39,140 per annum plus benefits including 30 days holiday.
Do you believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and secure in their home? Take the next step in your housing career in a role that offers influence, variety and genuine challenge. As a Neighbourhood Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our communities – taking ownership of a diverse patch, making informed decisions, and shaping places our customers are proud to call home.
About the role
Neighbourhood Managers are at the frontline of our housing service, taking ownership of a patch and delivering a fair, responsive and consistent service. You’ll be a visible presence in the community, building trusted relationships and acting as a key ambassador – managing everything from anti‑social behaviour and safeguarding concerns to community initiatives and enforcement where needed. It’s a varied, people‑focused role that calls for empathy, resilience and confident decision making. No two days are the same – and that’s exactly what makes the role so rewarding.
What we’re looking for
* Customer Driven: you put our customers at the centre of your work – listening, understanding individual circumstances, and delivering a fair, empathetic and responsive housing service.
* Accountability: you take ownership of your neighbourhood and decisions, managing your workload effectively and seeing issues through in line with policy and legal requirements.
* Develop & Learn: you’re committed to learning and continuous improvement, keeping your knowledge up to date and adapting your approach to meet changing needs.
* Champion Communication: you communicate clearly and calmly, building trust through empathy, professionalism and consistency.
We’ll have you bring
* Experience of managing neighbourhoods and estates.
* GCSE or equivalent qualification.
* Experience of tenancy management & partnership working.
* The ability to be rational and to draw logical solutions/resolutions by considering all information critically.
* A commitment to Equality and Diversity.
Pre‑employment requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic DBS check and a Right to Work check. Access to a car for work purposes is essential, along with a full UK driving licence and appropriate business insurance.
