About the Role
Surecall Education is currently recruiting EYFS Teaching Assistants to support Nurseries and Primary Schools across Luton and the wider Bedfordshire area. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility for candidates seeking regular work or a better work-life balance.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting young children in their early learning and development, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) activities
Assist with play-based learning, phonics, and early development activities
Provide one-to-one or small group support to children when needed
Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines
What We're Looking For
Experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS, nursery, or primary school setting
A passionate, caring, and patient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and willingness to support children's development
Relevant qualifications or childcare experience are desirable but not essential
