Overview
Pricing series linked to them. Our roles vary from oversight of fund accounting and unit pricing, placement of trades and the maintenance of customer facing data for our funds. This role is part of the Fund Data Oversight team and supports processing fund changes that impact ReAssure policyholder funds. You will work to ensure timely action and FCA COBs compliance, coordinate actions with internal and external stakeholders, and support maintenance of Static Fund Data, analysis of Asset Allocation information and calculation of Fund Distributions. The team works to strict deadlines often set by external market activity, so you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure actions are delivered successfully. You should be organized and dependable, contributing to monitoring actions and managing risks and controls we are responsible for.
Key Responsibilities
* Fund Changes – coordinate changes to ReAssure policyholder funds in response to internal and market-led events, delivering changes by the appropriate deadline and ensuring compliance with FCA COBs rules.
* Static Fund Data – maintain static fund data with accuracy for fund pricing and external sharing; oversee charges taken from each policyholder series, considering applicable product terms.
* Asset Allocation – calculate and report fund asset allocation for industry sector benchmarks and customer fund factsheets.
* Risk and Control – support ongoing delivery of robust, efficient operational and financial processes and controls.
* Fund Distribution – calculate and process periodic fund distributions for both Unit Linked and With-Profit funds.
* Customer Queries – respond to queries raised by the Customer Service team.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience within Financial Services industry, preferably in investment fund operations, with understanding of Unit Linked and With-Profit funds.
* Experience dealing with corporate actions.
* Accounting and Investment Operations-related qualifications.
* Experience using Morningstar Direct and/or IWT.
* Proficient MS Excel user with experience with macros.
* Self-starter and independent worker with strong ownership and ability to deliver to deadlines under pressure.
* Attention to detail and high standards for quality; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with holistic financial thinking.
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders.
Location
This role will be based in the Telford office; you will be required to attend the office a minimum of twice a week, with time spent between home and the office.
