About the Role
As an IT Technician, you will provide technical support to staff and students while maintaining the school’s IT systems and hardware. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing first-line technical support for staff and students.
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, and classroom technology.
* Supporting the school network, printers, and AV equipment.
* Assisting with troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Supporting the implementation of new IT systems and digital learning tools.
* Maintaining accurate records of support requests and system updates.
* Assisting with system security, backups, and updates.

Experience and Qualifications
* Previous experience in IT support, technician, or helpdesk roles.
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and hardware troubleshooting.
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
