The Role — Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you’ll help our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing in their own homes by providing:
* Personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks
* Social support and encouragement to participate in community and wellness activities
* Safe transportation to appointments and social outings (paid mileage provided)
* Regular updates to your Team Leader on client needs and progress
Desired Skills and Experience
About You — Who We’re Looking For
You’re a caring, motivated individual with:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services (or current Nursing student with completed Aged Care placements)
* Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services
* Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm
* Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
* A genuine passion for supporting older people with empathy and respect
* A current Driver’s License and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle suitable to transport elderly clients
* A current satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* COVID 19 vaccination and influenza vaccination encouraged
