Job Description
In this role you will be involved in a range of manufacturing engineering activities and will help support the introduction of an extensive range of new products into the existing manufacturing processes.
There will be a strong element of data management and interaction with multi-functional departments to ensure timely and accurate engineering and manufacturing Bill of Materials, creating pack and go folders for external fabrications suppliers, liaison with these external fabricators and communication with new product introduction team as these machines progress through the manufacturing process.
The successful candidate will be able to manage many projects simultaneously and deliver results. The person will work closely between both Design Engineering and Operations.
About The Role
* Analysis of data from multiple facets of the business to facilitate and support the new product introduction program.
* Active participation in cross-functional teams including design engineers, purchasing, manufacturing and quality.
* Involvement in the creation of engineering and manufacturing Bills of Materials identification.
* Communication with existing and new suppliers with regard to fabrications.
* Document issues within the manufacturing processes and procedures as these machines progress through the new product area.

Desired Criteria
* Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of metal fabrication, painting processes and staged assembly system and ERP tools with a particular emphasis on scheduling methods, and BOM structuring and planning.
Required Criteria
* A Third Level qualification (degree or foundation degree ) in an engineering related discipline e.g. manufacturing, mechanical, industrial OR
* Studying for a third level qualification part time (degree or foundation degree) in an engineering related discipline e.g. manufacturing, mechanical, industrial
* A minimum of 2 years operational experience in manufacturing
* Demonstrable capabilities in Lean operations
