SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – September Start – Stoke-on-Trent We are working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Stoke-on-Trent that's looking to bring on a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant from September. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has experience supporting children with additional needs—particularly in settings where behaviour can be challenging. You’ll be working both 1:1 and in small group settings, so confidence, patience, and adaptability are key. The Role: * ️ Full-time (Monday to Friday), term-time only * Based in a specialist SEN school in Stoke-on-Trent * Working 1:1 with pupils and supporting small group activities * Supporting students with complex needs including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges * Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team to support learning, engagement, and development What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a support/care role with children or young adults with SEN * Confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation * Strong communication skills and a calm, resilient approach * A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one sorted What You’ll Get: * A supportive school environment with ongoing training * Consistent work and long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement * Weekly pay and access to a dedicated recruitment consultant (that’s me!) * A real chance to make an impact every day If you're passionate about working with young people with additional needs and you're available full-time from September – I want to hear from you
