POSITION This role is to provide broad business development and sales support for the Netherlands, UK & Ireland (NUKI) Institutional business. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, supporting the sales strategy to drive positive net new revenue by supporting the Sales Director(s), identifying new business opportunities and having a responsibility for certain accounts. The role is focused building the NUKI business for Allspring and you will be directly responsible for a list of accounts and sales targets and accountable with your team for the delivery of the overall business plan. This role will include travel. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week. Location(s): London RESPONSIBILITIES Participation in developing and executing the overall sales strategy for institutional market in UKI and broad market in Netherlands Work with the Sales Director to drive positive net revenue for the assigned portion of the business; supporting in strategic relationships within the assigned territory and client group(s) to develop, grow, and retain those relationships as well as identifying new relationships and prospects Maintaining thorough, direct dialogue with prospects and their key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and delivering appropriate solutions Understanding and staying current on Allspring's business strategy in order to drive firm-wide initiatives. Expanding Allspring’s brand by supporting and developing client-focused events (e.g. roundtables, events, awards submissions etc.) and attending as required Help expand our client base by monitoring stakeholders in key markets and arranging meetings for Sales Director. Attending meetings and ensuring updates are reported back to assure Allspring’s understanding of current trends and requirements for our clients. Building relationships with key market participants including local and global consultants as well as independent Trustees Making cold calling part of the everyday routine: Expanding our engagement beyond our current book of clients and prospects by making sure our solutions capabilities are known to all relevant prospects in the assigned markets Understand our various channels (retirement, insurance, Financial Institutions, Official Institutions) and be able to organise internal support to address channel specific client engagement Produce and deliver presentations and portfolio review materials, collaborating with portfolio specialists and investment team specialists on content and structure. Monitoring and maintenance of the internal CRM system, to ensure that up to date prospect, sales and client information is stored. Maintain a full understanding of compliance implications and work within the processes and procedures of our organisation Preparation and provision of portfolio performance and competitive firm analysis. Involvement in internal regular management reporting and project management as required Build strong relationships with teams across the business, such as legal, compliance, admin, marketing, to ensure effective collaboration on all client related matters. Any other such tasks as reasonably required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Dutch language skills helpful but not required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5 years experience of institutional asset management, relationship management, portfolio management, sales or consulting; IMC Good understanding of the institutional asset management industry in the UKI Region and preference for additional Dutch knowledge. Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Database management skills Proactive, solutions oriented and client focused service approach. Team player with strong team working skills. Experience in developing relationships and converting into business and sales opportunities with key clients. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
