What you will do
Our Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) division delivers project solutions, maintenance & service solutions supporting manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements. We are OEM for SABROE, Frick Compressors & York products, with trained engineers providing project solutions and planned, preventative, & reactive works to markets including meat, poultry, food manufacturing, beverage, cold storage, general manufacturing, leisure, pharmaceutical, & automotive. Our equipment portfolio includes commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
We seek a motivated, hands-on individual with a strong foundation in refrigeration systems who aspires to develop into an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer. The role offers structured on-the-job training working alongside experienced engineers on ammonia, CO₂, and HFC refrigeration systems used in large-scale facilities.

How you will do it
You will serve as the primary contact for technical service and maintenance issues, troubleshooting and resolving commercial refrigeration systems within set timeframes and processes. You will perform system PPMs as per contract, communicate findings, and recommend improvements. You will collaborate with industrial engineers to develop knowledge in industrial systems, providing service and maintenance support.
This is a mobile role, Monday – Friday, with 1 in 5 standby shifts. You will prepare detailed reports and technical communications for the Service Coordinator & Client. Safety is paramount. While often working independently, you will be part of a team contributing to its success.
What we look for
* F-GAS 2079 certification; CO₂, A2L, HC experience is advantageous.
* Refrigeration apprenticeship preferred.
* Recognized refrigeration qualification (e.g., C&G).
* Experience with various commercial refrigeration systems.
* Ability to interpret electrical, fluid, piping, and psychometric diagrams.
* Full UK driving license.
* Ability to work independently with limited procedures.
* Proactive, customer-focused attitude.
* Positive team player.
