Medical Practice Vacancy – Edinburgh
The vacancy arose in South East Edinburgh due to a desire to return a directly managed practice to an independent contractor while moving to new premises at Liberton Community Campus.
The new premises at Liberton Community Campus, 328 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh, EH17 7PT, are owned by the City of Edinburgh Council and are purpose designed to support the delivery of modern general practice care. The practice will be tenant under NHS Lothian.
Responsibilities
* Lead a primary care team as it develops new ways of working and grows its patient list.
* Continue to provide and improve traditional Primary Care services.
* Deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of patients.
* Offer a range of additional and enhanced services.
Qualifications
* Eligible to provide General Medical Services in Scotland.
Patient List Growth
We anticipate that the patient list should grow to list size of at leastc12000 patients as part of our strategy to serve the South East Edinburgh population.
