Manpower Manufacturing & Engineering are excited to bring a new opportunity to market for one of our prestigious Global Partners. We are on the lookout for an experienced Production Engineer (mechanically biased), to join their existing team based in Sutton in Ashfield, working 12-hour days and 12-hour nights 6am-6pm / 6pm to 6am, (no weekends).
**This is a 6-month Fixed term contract.
Produce to required quality. Ensuring all quality checks are completed and required adjustments carried out.
To manufacture production plan to achieve 100% customer attainment.
Identify and resolving problem areas affecting performance. Resolve breakdowns and carry out improvement tasks/projects as required.
Involvement in training activates to improve own effectiveness as well as training others.
Lead the line team in problem solving for the rest of the production line and lead handover.
Time served apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification.
~ Able to work from drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
~3-5 years’ experience in FMCG, preferably packaging.
~ Ability to analysis problems and take corrective action.
~ Basic electrical knowledge (advantage in understanding problems).
