McCue is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Industrial Safety product line in the UK market. This role requires a proven track record of launching new products and securing business within the industrial safety sector. The ideal candidate will have experience selling directly to end users, while also building strategic relationships with Architects, System Integrators, and General Contractors.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on territory growth and brand expansion.
* Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities using HubSpot, ensuring movement through the full sales cycle.
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, with a focus on securing repeat business and long-term agreements.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple verticals using industry resources, referrals, and trade events.
* Conduct competitor analysis to support customer conversion strategies.
* Deliver professional presentations and proposals to customers across various decision-making levels.
* Collaborate internally to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment.
* Promote McCue’s products through marketing assets, digital channels, and direct engagement.
* Lead commercial tenders while maintaining margins aligned with company objectives.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the Industrial Safety or a related technical field.
* Strong understanding of solution selling, with experience influencing both end users and procurement stakeholders.
* Skilled in developing business with Architects, System Integrators, and General Contractors.
* Proficient in using CRM tools such as HubSpot for pipeline and activity management.
* Familiarity with the Miller Heiman Selling Process is an advantage.
* Able to analyze market trends and data to inform a tactical sales approach.
* Comfortable operating independently in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
