Protocol Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Loughton, who are seeking an experienced and confident HLTA to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step, supporting across the school and delivering high-quality interventions and cover.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will:
• Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
• Support small group and 1:1 interventions to raise attainment
• Work closely with class teachers to support planning and pupil progress
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN
• Help maintain a positive, structured and engaging learning environment

About You
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Confident delivering lessons across primary age ranges
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Experience supporting SEN (desirable)
• Adaptable, proactive and reliable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
