Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in traffic management and highways engineering? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Traffic Management Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team based in Perth.
About the Role
As a Graduate Traffic Management Contracts Technician, you’ll support the design, planning, and delivery of traffic management schemes across a range of infrastructure and maintenance projects. Working alongside experienced Contracts Managers, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of temporary traffic management, from site assessments and CAD design to compliance and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of traffic management layout drawings using AutoCAD
* Support the tendering and delivery of contracts in line with company and client requirements
* Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project needs and constraints
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, legislation, and industry guidance (e.g., Chapter 8, Safety at Street Works and Road Works)
* Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery
* Maintain accurate records, drawings, and documentation
About You
* Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Transport, or related discipline
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Experience with xsngvjr AutoCAD (preferred)
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced, technical environment
