Retirement Key Account Manager
Salary
Circa £65,000, commensurate with experience.
Location
Home based with regular travel around the South West region; minimum three days per week face‑to‑face with clients.
Overview
This role is perfect for someone who loves building strong relationships and spotting new opportunities. You will have deep knowledge of retirement solutions and the intermediary market, enjoy influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders, and want to make a real impact in shaping Aviva’s retirement strategy.
Responsibilities
* Help Aviva become the go‑to expert in retirement planning.
* Work with key accounts to deliver holistic solutions across equity release, annuities and long‑term care.
* Build strong relationships, spot opportunities and drive growth in the retirement market.
* Report into the strategic account managers while collaborating with marketing and distribution teams to shape propositions and campaigns.
* Ensure customers and partners receive the best possible retirement solutions.
Qualifications
* Deep knowledge of retirement solutions (e.g. annuities, equity release, drawdown).
* Strong understanding of the intermediary and retirement marketplace.
* Proven track record in managing distribution relationships and driving growth.
* Excellent relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
