Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal at Barton Lodge Veterinary Centre, Hemel Hempstead (IVC Evidensia UK).
Role details: 3 days ago was advertised; salary up to £70,000 DOE plus relocation up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000. The position can be Full Time or Part Time; working up to 4 days per week with 1:4 Saturday mornings. There are no out of hours, Sundays or bank holidays. We are a Vets Now host practice with in-patient care provided by Vets Now staff each night.
About the practice: Barton Lodge is a long-established small animal practice, single-site in Hemel Hempstead with air-conditioned rooms and access to referral centres for complex cases. Facilities include a dedicated operating theatre, 3 consulting rooms, large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, imaging/dental area with digital X-ray (standard and dental), ultrasound, in-house lab, ECG, and tonometer.

Staff include 4.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists and 1 Office Staff. Responsibilities
* Engage in a varied small animal caseload with the opportunity to work up cases with support from experienced colleagues as needed.
* Share a good mix of consulting and surgical time, with the ability to pursue particular clinical interests.
* Contribute to maintaining high-quality client care and case management within the practice.
* Work up to 4 days per week with a 1:4 Saturday morning rota; no out-of-hours, Sundays or bank holidays.
