SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
1. Planner for Offshore Services Division (Fixed Term up to 12 months)

3. Working at the Mammoet Offshore office in Thornaby, Teesside
As a key member of the operations team, your main responsibility will be to organise the daily planning of resources (personnel and equipment) within Mammoet Offshore Services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a full time, up to 12 month fixed term contract to be based at the office in Teesside. Additional travel to other UK sites and the Netherlands may be required on an occasional basis.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
4. Planning: Organise the planning of operational and maintenance personnel that are working in the workshop and on various project sites globally. Working closely with the Project Managers to ensure projects are sufficiently manned and changes are made as and when required.
5. Operations: Ensure resources are managed and utilised in the most effective manner.
6. SHEQ: Ensure and encourage compliance with SHEQ standard and procedures by the site teams.
7. Administration: Review timesheets and expenses claims, booking of flights, accommodation and transport, creation of purchase orders, creation of management of maintenance work orders and the maintenance plan board, complete all other relevant administration tasks to the highest standard in line with internal requirements.
8. Communication: Build and maintain excellent relationships with the operations team as well as third party skateholders. Ensure operators have the correct information and paperwork regarding job assignments. Deal with customer enquiries in a positive manner.
9. Personnel Management: Manage and record training and certification for operations. Conduct Operator appraisals, return to work interviews and deal with day to day operational issues.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential:
10. Educated to A Level standard of equivalent
11. A team player and good communicator that loves working with people
12. Flexible and willing to be on call evenings and weekends due to the 24hr nature of the industry
13. Proficient in ICT in particular Microsoft Office packages
14. Good level of English both verbal and written
15. Valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
16. Experience in a similar role
17. Experience of visa application processes for working in foreign countries
18. Educated to degree level in a Logistics or Technical discipline
