Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Birmingham who are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a full-time role, supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping students reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in delivering lessons across a range of subjects
* Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning
* Encourage student engagement and participation within lessons
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance
* Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
* Support students’ academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing
* Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school
Requirements
* Previous experience working with young people is desirable
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Confident supporting students within a secondary school setting
* A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
* Relevant qualifications or experience within education are beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
