Who You Are We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Street Works Officer to ensure street and highway works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation and permit conditions. What the Job Involves Inspect street works to ensure compliance with NRSWA, permit schemes, and codes of practice Identify defects, non-compliance, and safety issues, taking appropriate enforcement action Liaise with utility companies, contractors, and internal teams Record inspections and findings accurately using electronic systems Support the coordination of works to minimise disruption to the public Skills Experience in street works, highways, or inspection roles Good working knowledge of NRSWA and associated regulations Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage inspections across the network
