You’ll take up this crucial role to work alongside our Leakage Detection management to enable effective maintenance of assets. You’ll support the team in enabling them to undertake planned and reactive maintenance of defective leakage data equipment, PRVs and similar apparatus in addition to leakage data software and system.
Understanding of water networks, pressure management and leakage experience will be crucial. Analytical and hydraulic modelling skills will enable you to make an impact in this role. You’ll support operational activities which are both planned and reactive by ensuring consistent asset maintenance and data capture.

What will you mainly be responsible for delivering?
4. As a Data & PRV Analyst you will work with the wider Leakage Optimisation to manage/monitor pressure management and calm network strategy and activities within Wholesale Operations.
5. Pressure Management as part of calm network and leakage reduction is a fundamental part of South East Water’s overall AMP7/AMP8 strategy, and the Data and PRV Analyst role provides the analytical information to drive this strategy supporting both the asset management and regional leakage teams.
6. Provide analysis of pressure management scheme performance to provide explanation and movements and trend analysis
7. Support the Leakage Optimisation in agreeing and production of regional leakage strategies.
8. Preparation of pressure management and flow meter priorities and assessment on results.
What you bring to the role
9. A technically qualified professional, preferably with an appropriate degree, but otherwise with several years’ water network, pressure management and leakage analysis experience.
10. Analytical and hydraulic modelling skills are essential.
11. Good communication skills
12. Good IT and analytical skills
13. Good understanding of component parts of regulatory reported leakage
14. Good understanding of flow and pressure management techniques to optimise a calm water network and reduce bursts and leakage.
15. Understanding of operational and asset management aspects of the business
16. The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
