We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team, due to an increase in numbers we are looking to appoint somebody on a zero hours contract but this could potentially lead to a full time position. Duties
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English.
* Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement and effective leadership techniques.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the educational experience for children in your care.
* Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
