Machine Operative Masterfold Location: Marston Green Contract: Permanent Shift Pattern : Rotating shifts 6:00am 2:00pm 2:00pm 10:00pm 10:00pm 6:00am *MUST be able to work all 3 shifts on a rotating basis. We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operative to work on a Masterfold gluing machine within a busy corrugated cardboard box manufacturing environment. Candidates with direct Masterfold experience are highly desirable; however, individuals with strong transferable machinery operating skills within a manufacturing or packaging setting will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor a Masterfold gluing machine to ensure efficient and accurate production Carry out machine adjustments to meet job specifications and quality standards Conduct routine checks to ensure product quality and consistency Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues, escalating faults where necessary Ensure production targets are met while minimising waste and downtime Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment Work collaboratively with other machine operatives and production staff Complete basic production and quality documentation as required Skills & Experience: Previous experience operating a Masterfold machine within the corrugated cardboard or packaging industry is preferred Candidates with experience operating similar high-speed production or converting machinery are encouraged to apply Strong mechanical awareness and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable working on a rotating 3-shift pattern Benefits: Stable, long-term employment within a well-established manufacturing business Ongoing training and development for candidates with transferable skills Shift premium of 30% of hourly rate Opportunity to work with modern machinery in a fast-paced production environment
