Salary: National – £40,000-£50,000 / London - £50,000-£60,000

As an experienced Data Product Owner, you should have a solid background in planning, integrating, testing, and validating Data Products. A well-rounded understanding of data operations and data pipelines is essential.

About the role:
At Aviva, data is vital to our success. As a Product Owner within our Data Engineering team, you will play a key role, integrating into Aviva Quantum, our global Data Science hub, which covers Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, and more.
Your role extends beyond technical responsibilities. You will lead innovation, guide team evolution with industry-leading approaches, and collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Skills and experience required:
1. Develop and maintain detailed data product vision and roadmaps with clear milestones and strategic alignment.
2. Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify data needs and transform them into opportunities and benefits.
3. Understand data architecture, analytics, and governance for building data products.
4. Measure and evaluate data product performance, impact, and user satisfaction using data-driven metrics.
5. Develop and maintain Data Product controls, including manifests and catalogues.
