Yorktel is seeking a Control Systems Programmer to join our team!
Role Overview: The Control Systems Programmer reports to the EMEA Field Engineering Lead and is responsible for control systems programming, graphical user interfaces, and supporting documentation. Key responsibilities include programming, remote and on-site support, testing, debugging, and creating Touch Panel Plans.
Team Collaboration & Communication: This role involves working with a team of varying expertise levels, influencing internal and external customers, troubleshooting issues, making recommendations, and ensuring resolution of technical problems. Effective communication of complex technical information is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and document control system packages based on client requirements.
* Create control system plans aligned with project and client needs.
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, and staff during design, development, and delivery phases.
* Develop control system components such as Touch Panel Plans, system code, graphics, and operational narratives.
* Support team members and maintain accurate project documentation.
* Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
* Complete assignments on time and within budget, managing multiple projects efficiently.
* Adhere to technical standards, practices, and documentation procedures.
* Provide technical support and share knowledge within the team.
* Continuously develop technical skills and adhere to company policies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
Education and Experience:
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of video/audio conferencing standards.
* Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar diagramming tools.
* Understanding of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT products.
* Willingness to pursue additional training.
* Knowledge of Cisco and Poly Collaboration endpoints.
* Certifications: InfoComm CTS (with CTS-D), Polycom PCVE, Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC.
