Embedded Software Engineer £45,000 Sheffield
Im recruiting on behalf of an established engineering client for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team, working on real-time, safety-critical systems .
Youll be involved across the full development lifecycle, designing and developing embedded software while collaborating closely with hardware teams. The role includes both new product development and enhancing existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop embedded software in C
Work with bare-metal and/or RTOS systems
Write low-level drivers (SPI, UART, GPIO)
Support hardware/software integration
Key Requirements:
Experience in embedded software development
Strong Embedded C skills
Understanding of real-time systems and electronics
Ability to write clean, maintainable code
