Running Account Manager - Oxford District
Specialist Sports Limited is a well-established sporting goods agency providing Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Creative solutions to performance sports brands, including adidas.
We are committed to expanding our market reach and becoming an authentic route to market for various brands and categories.
The Running Account Manager will join our Running Specialist Team, working with industry-leading products to deliver excellent standards and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage a targeted list of Running customers, maximizing revenue through timely dispatch and managing queries.
* Work with a northern UK account base.
* Grow the Running categories by developing new and existing business.
* Assist the Category Manager with inventory forecasting and control.
* Support retail partners' events and expos.
* Collaborate with brand coaches for product training and promotional activities.
* Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
* Maintain an accurate database of wholesale and B2B customers.
* Create multimedia sell-in tools and update the company website with product information and marketing materials.
* Handle general sales inquiries and coordinate with the fulfillment team to ensure prompt order delivery.
* Perform other duties as delegated by the Category Manager or Sales and Marketing Director.
Qualifications
Relevant trade experience and qualifications, enthusiasm, and a personal interest in sports, especially running. The role is primarily field-based with travel to Southampton required. Flexibility in working hours is provided.
The candidate should be able to identify customer needs and communicate effectively to support their success.
