Clinical Placement Facilitator
Location: Head Office - London
Hours: 37.5 hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £36,000.00 per year (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)

Overview
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Placement Facilitator to join our People Development department. This pivotal role supports the coordination and delivery of high-quality student placements across our clinical services, ensuring a positive and safe learning experience for all learners. You will act as a key link between clinical teams, education providers, and learners, helping to plan, monitor, and evaluate placements. Your work will directly support compliance with NHS contract requirements for education and training, while contributing to workforce development and sustainability.
Please note: This position requires registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of This Role Include
* Student placement management
* Act as the main liaison between the Corporate Education Team, universities, and placement providers
* Coordinate and manage placement logistics, including block dates, allocation lists, timetables, learner attendance, and monitoring
* Establish clear communication channels to keep all parties informed
* Maintain accurate digital records of placement information, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
* Act as the first point of contact for learners regarding placement matters, providing assistance and guidance
Applicants Should Meet the Following Criteria
* Current NMC registration
* Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development
* Practice Assessor/Mentorship Qualification
* Maths and English GCSE at level 4 or equivalent or functional skills level 2
* Experience in clinical education, workforce planning, or placement coordination is desirable
