Job Description
The Regulatory Solicitor will be:* Advising clients on the regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures* Conducting regulatory due diligence and drafting contractual provisions* Working with clients on contentious regulatory matters including environmental and health and safety cases* Assisting with investigations, enforcement proceedings and trial preparation* Advising clients on fire safety legislation, compliance obligations and enforcement action* Working with manufacturers, importers and distributors on product safety and compliance matters* Assisting clients with product recalls and remedial action programmes* Managing a varied caseload while delivering commercially focused legal advice* Building strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors
The Successful Applicant
The Regulatory Solicitor should be:* A solicitor qualified in England and Wales with circa 1 to 2 years' PQE* Experienced in regulatory, litigation or contentious legal work* Able to demonstrate strong drafting and analytical skills* Interested in developing expertise across environmental, health and safety and product compliance matters* A strong communicator with excellent client relationship skills
